A cooking Christmas

Thankfully Ray Gelato is here to help with the release of his cookbook filled with not only delicious recipes that Ray has developed over the years, but also stories and photos from his escapades on tour. It's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas...
10 December, 2008 - 15:38As the Air offices begin to take on a seasonal flavour, we're happy to be working on a couple of albums that offer a slightly different take on the usual Christmas fare.
Legendary singer Al Jarreau has released his simply titled 'Christmas' album through Warner's Rhino imprint, the first set of new songs he's recorded since 2006. The 7-time Grammy winning artist's collection of tunes, including a funked-up 'Winter Wonderland' and 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas', is sure to smooth out any stresses caused by last minute rushes to the shops.

Air MTM Grammy Nominations
8 December, 2008 - 14:12We are delighted to announce that four artists we work with were nominated for Grammy awards on Wednesday.
Jason Mraz – co-managed by Air Management for the UK and Online – is up for Best Male Vocal Pop Performance and Song Of The Year for his hit single I’m Yours, taken from the album We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things; and Jason’s album has been nominated in the Best Engineered Album (non-classical) category.
Finn Peters Live Session on BBC Radio 1
27 November, 2008 - 11:55A session recorded at the Maida Vale Studios by Finn Peters’ band will be featured on Gilles Peterson’s BBC show tonight. His band will be performing the title track from his newest release ‘Butterflies’ as well as another recent Finn composition. Described as “another masterpiece” by All About Jazz’s Chris May, Butterflies showcases the compositional talents of the BBC Jazz Award winner. Listen out for Finn’s upcoming project in 2009 exploring compositions using brainwaves….

Tim Garland's Lighthouse Trio on BBC Radio 3 - Jazz Line Up
20 November, 2008 - 15:39On 14th December 2008 Jazz Line Up will be dedicating the entire show to a historic live concert by Tim Garland. As part of the City Of London Festival, Tim Garland performed with his Lighthouse Trio and with guests the Sacconi Strings, in the beautiful surroundings of the Stationers Hall, in the old City Of London. It was an amazing concert and we're pleased others will get a chance to hear it as well.

The inaugural Festival New Orleans proved a resounding success last weekend as more than 80,000 people made their way to The O2 for this incredible free celebration of the music and culture of one of the world's most exciting cities. With an atmosphere unlike anything seen at The O2 before, revellers danced, cheered and sang along to storming sets from the likes of Dr John, Allen Toussaint, Buckwheat Zydeco and Kermit Ruffins.
