Having recently completed his UK tour in May and June 2013 following the release of The View From Here, Kyle Eastwood has been received in the UK to considerable critical acclaim. Dynamic and bursting with powerful grooves and innovative melodies, the album presents the eclectic music of a band leader, virtuoso instrumentalist and composer who has forged a path as one of the leading artists in his field and hailed by the BBC as “Eastwood’s finest album to date, with a timeless quality”.

One highlight of the successful album campaign included Kyle’s appearance on BBC Breakfast ahead of his show at the legendary Ronnie Scotts jazz club in London, where he spoke about his work and his tour (available to watch below).

Among other highlights, Kyle also stopped by for a live recorded session for BBC Radio 3’s InTune as well as Abbey Road Studios, also available to watch below (video courtesy of Jazz Village).

The View From Here is full of charm, Kyle’s original compositions and musicianship brimming with flair and quite a bit of funk. It’s refreshing that instead of collecting convictions for a living, the child of a star is doing something that requires talent and a lot of it.”

“If ooh’s and aah’s had been currency on Thursday night, Kyle Eastwood would be a very rich man!”
